Our Opportunity:

Charles Schwab is expanding our enterprise architecture function in support of overall technology strategy and technology modernization. We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a strong IT governance background who has worked with SW Technologies (Jira/Confluence) to support those business practices and a reporting background with Visual Basic or Tableau.

What you’ll do:

You will support critical enterprise architecture processes around the Schwab Application Portfolio, Technology Governance, Architecture Governance and related processes. You will work with staff across the organization to effectively, efficiently and proactively guide, educate, manage issues, resolve questions and maintain high data quality. The position requires broad knowledge, understanding and technical experience with software development and infrastructure. The position will also support regulatory and compliance requests and responses for data and supporting materials managed by enterprise architecture.

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

  • Must have 7 or more years of information technology experience

  • Background in regulatory financial compliance

  • Experience with IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools

  • Experience with Agile development practices and tools (JIRA and Confluence experience preferred)

  • Strong communication and organization skills, “client first” mentality

  • Experience working with auditors, regulators and vendors

  • Demonstrated integrity and judgment within a professional environment

  • Experience with system hardware, and configurations

  • Ability to successfully interface with leadership and engineers alike

  • Ability to provide concise, fact-based communications (both verbal and written)

  • Experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions

  • IAITAM certification
