What you’ll do:
DUTIES: Work with business partners to implement and support software solutions within a highly distributed .NET application infrastructure. Design, implementation, automated testing, and tier II support of applications within the Sales and Service Technology portfolio that help support businesses needs and requirements. Interact and work with business stakeholders, users, and technology counterparts to build and support applications used to report customer complaints as part of Schwab’s regulatory requirement. Help provide Tier II production support which includes working and helping troubleshoot issues with end users; working with 1st level production support to help debug application, network and database issues for the teams supported applications; and being part of an on-call rotation
What you have:
Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and eight years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or a related occupation.
Experience and/or education must include:
Financial services industry experience and financial industry audit requirements pertaining to customer financial security transactions;
Web Application Development in the .NET Framework with all components of the Microsoft Technology Stack;
Database experience with T-SQL, either PLSQL or Oracle, and developing and deploying SSIS packages;
Object oriented design and programming and UML;
Schwab’s request reply bus architecture including the available mainframe regions, switching regions, retrieve, and validate data; and
Agile or Scrum development methodology.
