In Corporate Risk Management, we provide an integrated risk management strategy that supports the delivery of predictable financial and operational performance in order to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes. We are organized around six primary functions: Bank Risk, Enterprise Risk, Information Security Risk, Market and Investment Risk, Model Risk and Operational Risk. Within each of these areas, we develop a framework for how much risk we are willing to accept as a firm and establish processes for identifying, evaluating, measuring, monitoring and reporting against that framework.The Business Continuity team assists departments with identifying their exposure to internal and external threats and to implement sound strategies that provide effective prevention and recovery for the organization, while maintaining competitive advantage and value system integrity.

In this role, you will work with the Business Continuity and Incident Management (BCIM) team in the creation of Management Information and Reporting functionality. You will partner with various Business Continuity leads in building out metrics to measure the directional progress of the program and also highlight key areas of program enhancement. You will assist with the management of information flow, structuring data capture methodologies and producing reports in pre-defined intervals. You will also be partnering with the Program Office to undertake tactical projects involving documentation, change management and ad hoc reporting.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Business Continuity leaders in building metrics to measure the progress of each individual vertical

  • Create performance monitoring dashboards and reports to demonstrate directional progress of the function

  • Fulfill all reporting requirements within the Team

  • Partner with the Technology team in defining data and reporting requirements

  • Undertake analytical gap analysis projects involving a variety of data elements and present improvement opportunities

  • Promote the concept of analytical decisions through structured data analysis

  • Provide guidance and ownership in the creation of dashboards, data mining reports, standing reporting requirement templates and calendar tracking, and supporting documentation for procedures.

  • Assist the Business Continuity team with operational and tactical project deliverables as required

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

  • Knowledge of data mining practices, data relationships and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Excel (ability to perform pivot tables, v look-ups, etc.)

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint

  • Experience creating dashboards and providing data and metrics reporting preferred.

  • Tableau knowledge is preferred.

  • Project planning, business process mapping, etc.,

  • Certification preferred but not required.

  • 1-3 years of Business Continuity or related experience (physical security, data reporting, project management, etc.) preferred
