Our Opportunity:

The Training Operations Team Manager is a part of HR Shared Services Center of Excellence. The role is responsible for overseeing Training Operations Specialists that support training activities entered into Schwab’s Learning Management System. The team is responsible for LMS domain administration, logistics implementation for training events, and support of live and recorded virtual training sessions. The manager would be responsible for understanding and ensuring consultation aspects of the Training Ops team meet the expectations of client.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Senior Training Manager of HR Shared Services in ensuring Training Operations processes and procedures are adhered to, consistent and documented.

  • Lead of team of Training Operations Specialists responsible for the LMS

  • Partner with Logistics Team partners that support implementation needs for the Training Operations team.

  • Primary contact with HRIS Learning Technology team for LMS and WebEx production support and system enhancements.

  • Lead Training Operations team in any LMS testing efforts in partnership with our learning technology partners and governance processes.

  • Follow Plan of Supervision to ensure all activities entered into the LMS with proper internal review numbers and content is retired on monthly basis based training partner review within specified service level agreements.

  • Meet regularly with training leaders to address trends, strategy and resource planning.

  • Partner with Corporate Real Estate and technology teams to ensure training room accommodation needs are raised. Partner with Logistics team for any process changes that could impact their workflow.

  • Lead all regulatory and large scope Training Operations initiatives by providing guidance to appropriate support teams for launch and maintenance.

  • Establish and manage team to deliverable dates based on learning projects

  • Hires, supervises, trains, develops and evaluates staff on an ongoing basis. People management is both virtual and local.

  • Analyze capacity and resource support within Training Operations team.

  • Work with training vendors as needed for all Training Operation’s needs.

  • Track and reconcile budget spend for Triaing Operations support.

What you have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with Learning Management Domain Administration and Training Implementation

  • Minimum 3-5+ years management experience and proficiency in leading a geographically-separated team.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with capability to communicate with senior level leadership.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products required.

  • High attention to detail with exceptional time-management skills, and proven ability to manage multiple projects required.

  • Highly successful working collaboration and strategy across training and HR teams.

  • Excellent customer service skills and focus on improving and stream-lining processes.

  • Effective leadership capabilities, evidenced by ability to influence and implement process improvement.

  • BA/BS Required
