Our Opportunity:

Charles Schwab’s Security & Technology Operations organization is seeking a Security Operations (SecOps) Associate Data Analyst.

What you’ll do:

The primary focus will be around database security operations and analysis of database activity monitoring data. They will later move on to correlating the various data sets in an effort to provide actionable intelligence. This person will be working closely with the SOC, Threat Intelligence and enterprise stakeholders to raise overall security awareness and improve the security posture of the enterprise. The Security Operations’ mission is to support the STS and TIS vision through the execution of services in the following major Security areas: Monitoring, Risk Analysis, Incident Response, Security Integration Engineering, Data Analysis, Metrics and Reporting. The SecOps Associate Data Analyst is in support of the major security areas and specializing in data analysis from a variety of sources and various analytical platforms.

What you have:

  • Any experience in Information Technology

  • Any experience in Information Security

  • Any experience in Database Security

  • Strong background in mathematics

  • Strong research background

  • Programming skills in Python and R

  • An analytical approach for data analysis
