The Operational Services organization at Schwab is comprised of centralized teams that support Schwab business goals through the delivery of technology, operations, projects, business continuity and offshore management. The focus is on maximizing operating leverage by integrating functions, increasing productivity and gaining efficiencies in order to better position Schwab to compete in the marketplace and to reinvest in areas that matter most to our clients.
What you’ll do:
As a Cashiering representative with Operational Services at Charles Schwab & Co. Inc., you will process middle office and street-side operations functions that are critical parts of the engine that makes Schwab’s business run. We are a multi-facet team that provides client servicing, as well as processing time sensitive high risk client transactions. We are in constant contact with our internal and external clients. Never content with the status quo, we're continually looking for ways to leverage technology in an effort to improve systems and services to help exceed our clients' and business partners' needs. Our ability to continually streamline how we work and provide the high service levels that makes Operations a key competitive advantage for the firm.
Key responsibilities may include:
Processing incoming and outgoing wires and ACH transactions
Depositing funds to client account through several different channels
Processing internal cash transfers
Client contact with either Investment Advisors or End clients
What you have:
6+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in an operational or client service role
Series 7 and Series 63 may be required based on the grade level. Can be hired at GL 54, 55 or 56
Must have demonstrated ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a clear, well organized manner
Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows, internet searching, database systems, and email
Must be flexible with regard to both schedule and role as both may change with little notice in response to business demand
The ideal candidate will need to be equally comfortable with direct client interaction as they receive inbound client service calls and network internally to research and resolve client operational issues
Solid critical thinking skills and sound judgment
Ability to analyze complex problems, with strong attention to detail & ability to provide recommendations & solutions to problems
The shift will be 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
