Our Opportunity:

The Voice Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to help shape the next generation of call recording technologies for Charles Schwab & Co. This position will be deeply engaged in a dynamic, creative environment that is closely aligned with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing highly available voice recording solutions for enterprise size customers.

What you’ll do:

This position will work closely with our business partners, voice engineers and vendor partners to execute strategies that support our advanced call recording platform. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Designing, configuring, implementing, administering and providing engineering support for Schwab's voice call recording infrastructure.

  • Working collaboratively with team members to support integrations with contact center technologies including, but not limited to; Genesys, Cisco CUCM and various reporting platforms.

  • Ensuring conformance to best Voice / Contact Center engineering practices and in accordance with Schwab Security policies and standards.

  • Provide excellent customer service

The Voice Systems Engineer will work with the Schwab business units, internal Schwab Technology departments, and vendors to develop solutions for their technology needs. It will propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the call recording systems.

What you have:

  • Strong Knowledge of: Verint call recording and Verint products, Nice call recording platforms, Genesys CTI Framework, Genesys SIP, VoIP, and general Call Center Technologies.

  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP, network security, routing, firewall ACL management, DNS and enterprise network tools.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills to effectively address the needs of customers.

  • Team player who can also work independently in managing multiple deadlines and priorities.

  • Must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) and technical understanding to take complex technical concepts and present them to a range of technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Must have strong writing and documentation skills

Additional Qualifications

  • BA Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or other similar technical discipline or equal experience

  • Java Scripting/programming experience a plus

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
