Our Opportunity:

The Banking Technology Team provides application development and project delivery support to Charles Schwab Bank. Charles Schwab Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of Charles Schwab and Co., Inc. With $153.9 billion in assets, Charles Schwab Bank is the 15 th largest bank in the country. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be part of a fast paced development environment providing scalable technology solutions to solve complex business problems. This role requires analytical skills, thought leadership and collaboration to achieve maximum product delivery across a highly leveraged and integrated set of applications involving in-house developed and SaaS solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage 3 – 5 concurrent large-scale technology integration projects/programs

  • Lead and coordinate matrix project/program teams, including multiple external vendor representatives

  • Provide leadership for associate/staff Technical Project Managers and other technical domain resources assigned to program efforts

  • Develop integrated project delivery plans and manage milestone delivery across multiple technology domains and vendor products

  • Represent projects/programs at the Working Leadership/Steering Committee level as needed

  • Create and manage resource plans, provide project budget and sizing information

  • Identify and develop mitigation plans for project risks and issues

  • Coordinate project deliverables with overall release and delivery management

  • Deliver projects within structured governance framework

What you have:

  • Capability to manage a dynamic workload, aligning with business and technical partners on priorities and deliverable dates

  • Highly motivated, delivery oriented, organized approach with demonstrated leadership abilities

  • Ability to recognize risk and develop appropriate mitigation activities

  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills

  • 10+ years prior experience managing technical or software development projects

  • BS/BA degree, technology related preferred

  • Proficient with MS Office Product Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to communicate effectively to senior and executive levels within the organization

  • Proven ability to develop relationships with vendor, business and technical partners

  • Analytical, problem solving and prioritization skills

  • Proven experience with both Agile and waterfall (RUP – Rational Unified Process) and iterative (Agile, Kanban) development methodologies

  • PMI – PMP Certification highly desired

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint highly desired
