Our Opportunity:

The Sr. Manager will be an integral member of the Schwab Business Learning (SBL) Center of Excellence team. The Sr. Manager role will require an instructional design background as well as QA and Functionality testing of instructional design products with a high degree of flexibility and a passion for producing quality work.

What you’ll do:

The role will require a high degree of technical ability with specific responsibilities in the following areas:

  • Quality Assurance and Functionality Testing of all Instructional Design products in the LMS (Learning Management System) environment. Ability to troubleshoot and correct issues prior to launch. Desire and ability to learn technical aspects of current and future LMS is required in order to be highly proficient in role

  • Package and promote audio and video files to media server

  • Download archived source files to support maintenance activities

  • Complete server promotion for content production and versioning

  • Create and maintain tool templates

  • Provide rotational Instructional Design support on an as-needed basis

  • Consult on best practices associated with the content development lifecycle

  • Consult on learning industry trends including, but not limited to, instructional design software, LMS, design equipment, etc.

What you have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of instructional design experience

  • Minimum of 2 years experience testing and troubleshooting design content in an LMS environment

  • College degree required
