Our Opportunity:

This is a senior developer role based in Denver, CO in the Architecture and Frameworks team in CSIM Technology.

What you’ll do:

The role involves building application frameworks and services layers for our Data warehouse and CSIM technology applications. It will include building and realizing the strategy for the teams to support the dynamic needs of the CSIM business. This role also includes building the platform to support the operations, finance, performance, and policies / controls teams with a focus on improving the software quality, platform and technology service provided to the CSIM business.

The individual will be playing a pivotal role in the design, development and integration with investment management solutions and SaaS applications. Key part of the job will involve software design and implementation of reusable web services for consuming a data from a data warehouse. The job will also involve building new interfaces to third party systems, SaaS solutions, data warehouses leveraging integration best practices. The candidate will be building proprietary applications where a competitive advantage can be gained and integrating and managing industry leading vendor software to provide a cohesive, flexible platform which can scale effectively for future business growth.

What you have:

This role requires a highly motivated, organized, very detail oriented multi-disciplinary technologist, successful candidates will have a proven record of software delivery and support to a front office investment management business.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A university degree from a well-respected academic institution; advanced degrees in Information management, Computer Science, and/or other professional certifications are a plus

  • At least 5 years’ experience integrating 3rd party internal and external applications developed in C# or Java

  • At least 5 years’ experience building scalable APIs and web services ( REST/SOAP), SOA architecture and integrations technologies, experience with JSON, XML, XSD

  • Experience designing, architecting and building distributed and scalable enterprise-grade software applications and integrations

  • Networking knowledge involved in designing and integrating with remote sites, remote applications, SaaS applications, SFTP, TCP/IP

  • Experience with Microsoft technology stack, .NET, SQL, Windows 2012, SharePoint, IIS, etc. working knowledge of Active Directory and related capabilities, including integrating with SSO technologies, policy management, etc.

  • Experience working and designing large software systems, particularly distributed systems and architectures, knowledge of integration design patterns

  • Experience with message queuing technologies like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, IBMMQ, message brokers and ESB (enterprise service bus) such as Mule or Camel

  • Prior financial services experience

  • Understanding of security, certificates, Oath2, SAML is a plus
