Charles Schwab Platform and Product Management defines the experience and oversees the management of Schwab’s electronic channels (schwab.com and mobile apps) and internal platforms used by Schwab service representatives and financial consultants. The group is responsible for providing tools and experiences that enable clients to achieve their financial objectives, while supporting the strategic growth of the firm. The group supports all of Schwab’s business enterprises and works with a wide range or internal stakeholders including IT, sales and service, strategy and marketing.
The group is seeking a Senior Manager who will assist in leading strategic platform, product and communication projects, working with product managers, as well as various stakeholders throughout the firm.
What you’ll do:
Own and support forms and regulatory communications from strategic development to implementation.
Update and maintain forms and regulatory communications for emerging rules and regulations, as well as to enhance the client experience and improve operational efficiency.
Develop strategies and requirements, conduct in-take interviews, writing drafts and creative briefs, authoring changes and manage the creative agency.
Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders across Schwab’s business – product, legal, client experience, compliance, publishing, operations, sales and technology in order to execute on various initiatives.
Be able to proactively identify opportunities for introducing additional efficiencies into the current workflow, and be able to balance the needs of various user and stakeholder groups such as our clients, operations, service and oversight.
Navigate complex projects and translate high-level production concepts into detailed business requirements and implementation plans.
Stay informed of compliance/regulatory issues that may impact regulatory documents and assist in developing agreements and updates which comply with applicable rules, regulations and business needs.
Build relationships across the firm.
What you have:
6+ years of relevant work experience, including background in product management and financial services.
Relevant experience in creating and executing form and/or communication strategies for online and print - including ability to use client insights and competitive analysis to enhance the client experience.
Exceptionally strong project management skills with demonstrated track record managing complex projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable communicating with all levels of management.
Ability to synthesize data, develop recommendations, and influence and persuade partners.
Ability to be self-motivated in completing assigned tasks, with a well-developed ability to quickly grasp assignments and manage accordingly.
Comfortable working in a fast-changing, complex environment and juggling multiple priorities.
