Analytics and Business Insight is a department of 145 team members focused on firm-wide strategic decision support, client behavior diagnostics, advanced analytics, market research, client loyalty, management reporting, and client and prospect data management. What you’ll do:
The Market Research & Client Loyalty team is looking for a manager for the Information Center, a corporate resource for industry data, ABI reports and analysis, and third party research and databases. Reporting to the IC Lead, the manager partners with staff in ABI, Strategy and Client Experience to provide fact-based decision support. Responsibilities include:
Information Center Operations
Maintain the digital and hardcopy collections in the San Francisco, Denver, and Austin Information Centers (IC)
Oversee the circulation of IC materials and track usage
Manage the acquisition, cataloging and channel access for research studies, periodicals and books
Keep a high profile, web-based knowledge management portal up to date with the latest reports from Analytics & Business Insight and from third-party research vendors
Update web site and , partnering with IC lead, develop new web content and functionality
Oversees the promotion, maintenance and user education for a collection of Kindle readers
Support IC lead with contracts, invoices, purchase orders and documentation for Vendor Management
Trouble shoots technical problems with all information systems involving IT staff to resolve more complex technical issues
Partnering with IC lead, provides research assistance on high priority topics; interprets 3 rd party reports and summarizes for business partners
Uses a variety of electronic databases and specialized research tools such as Factiva, NEXIS, Factset, Forrester research and data from third-party research firms.
Give virtual and in-person tours and instruction on the use of IC resources to individuals and groups
Working with the IC Lead, plans and puts on webinars and other events that promote the Information Center resources
Helps raise awareness & usage of the key resources available in the three ICs by assisting with the preparation and publication of 5 yearly web based e-mail alerts
What you have:
A Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years working in a business environment preferably in a corporate setting is required
1+ year experience using html to update and change content on a web site
1+ year using Factiva, Nexis or other databases for business research
Experience working in a library
Strong Microsoft Windows skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Must be able to manage competing priorities and be a self-starter
Must be comfortable interacting with business partners from all levels
Must be motivated to provide excellent customer service
Must have excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
