The purpose of Schwab Acquisition Delivery is to bring new clients to the firm and to deepen the relationship with existing clients. This team’s focus is to ensure that every client experiences the very best Schwab has to offer. The Acquisition Team focuses on retail prospects and client lead opportunities through outbound and inbound interactions with the goal of establishing a new client relationship.

The purpose of Schwab Acquisition Delivery is to bring new clients to the firm and to deepen the relationship with existing clients. This team’s focus is to ensure that every client experiences the very best Schwab has to offer. The Acquisition Team focuses on retail prospects and client lead opportunities.

What you’ll do:

Lead your team in supporting the firm's acquisition and growth efforts to deepen client relationships through ensuring that our clients experience the very best Schwab has to offer. Your team of Investment Consultants proactively works with existing, new and potential clients to address their financial needs and to help them achieve financial fitness. The consultant engages clients in needs-based dialogue to gain a thorough understanding of the client needs and to position the appropriate Schwab strategies and services and helping to consolidate assets and account to Schwab.

Perform regular monitoring of business development conversations and sales activities to ensure adherence to policies and procedures as well as to ensure the appropriate client experience and business development opportunity recognition. Identify opportunities and implement regular coaching sessions with each Consultant to solidify and refine their sales process, skills, and the client experience. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners such as; Branch Network, Client Services and Marketing.

A typical day would include sales coaching and sales process management, development of team with effective training and performance management, analysis of performance data for trends and actions, interviewing prospective employees, collaborating with business partners and performing the compliance and administrative tasks inherent in our industry.

What you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years in financial services industry with at least two years of previous sales experience.

  • Proven success in establishing quality cross enterprise partnerships.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Schwab's retail products and services.

  • Demonstrated leadership, management and motivational skills.

  • A desire to lead, passion for sales management and a deep commitment to client service.

  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of proven success in sales and overall leadership.

  • Undergraduate Degree is required

  • Active and valid FINRA Series 7

  • Active and valid FINRA Series 9/10

  • Active and valid FINRA Series 66 (63/65) may be obtained within 120 days of employment

  • Active and valid Insurance – Life & Health (may be obtained within 120 days of employment
