Banking & Trust Services (BTS) is the business enterprise within Schwab overseeing Charles Schwab Bank and the Charles Schwab trust companies. The BTS organization offers deposit, loan and trust products to Schwab clients who are looking for holistic wealth management solutions that complement their brokerage activities. Our Opportunity:

The Bank’s Lending Products Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and developing marketing programs in partnership with Marketing Communications and Vendors to drive revenue growth and increase product penetration. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for fostering an excellent end-to-end lending experience, determining segmentation and targeting to enhance campaign conversion, and tracking and measuring marketing program effectiveness.

What you’ll do:

  • Support marketing program ideation and development with cross-functional partners such as Marketing Communications, Bank Sales, Insight & Loyalty, Legal, Compliance, Technology and Client Web Services on marketing strategy, process improvements, and product launches.

  • Lead internal communications as it relates to all Bank Lending products.

  • Assis in the execution of marketing initiatives for Mortgage, HELOC and PAL (Pledged Asset Line) products.

  • Contribute to the management and development of process improvements that result in an improved client experience.

  • Analyze campaign & initiative effectiveness.

  • Help drive the strategic vision for Schwab's Lending Products group by proactively identifying and executing upon opportunities to improve product penetration and the lending experience.

  • Actively participate on project teams to represent the Bank Lending Product Marketing team.

What you have:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in marketing functions and/or project management, with a preference for experience in sales and business development.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Financial Services industry experience is preferred with banking or home lending background a plus.

  • Highly client-oriented with demonstrated marketing program management and implementation experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to synthesize data, develop recommendations, influence partners and report on status.

  • Strong attention to detail and reviewing skills required.

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams, work efficiently in a matrixed environment and synthesize diverse points of view into well-formulated recommendations and plans.

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and drive each to completion.

  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment with the ability to problem solve.

  • Ability to communicate effectively to varying levels across the organization and build strong partnerships.

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
