Our Opportunity:

The Mobile Technology team offers a high quality, common Retail and Retirement Mobile platform for all Schwab clients including advisers, individuals and active investors. The Mobile Technology QA Team provides testing in support of mobile-based applications. Mobile QA team is responsible for test estimates, test strategies, test plans and scripts, functional and regression testing for mobile applications.

We are looking for a highly experienced Automation QA Tester with Test Project Management and QA Lead experience.

What you’ll do:

This role requires the individual to write automation code in SeeTest with JAVA programming. Responsibilities include the following:

  • As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level

  • Architect and develop and drive automation tools and frameworks to be used for the Mobile organization

  • Communicate and coordinate and align the automation strategy with the engineering team members, make recommendations to improve reliability, performance, best practices and processes

  • Make sure the automation is constantly running and being analyzed, reporting on failure promptly

What you have:

  • 6+ years in Test automation experience including 3+ years of mobile app automation experience

  • 4+ years of hands on coding experience in Java

  • Experience in architecting automation framework and implementing best practices. Strong programming, debugging/troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with mobile automation tools like SeeTest (preferable) or Perfecto Mobile. Also experience in maintaining SeeTest cloud and infrastructure.

  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid & Appium

  • Experience on Atlassian products like BitBucket, Confluence & JIRA

  • Experience in API test automation using Parasoft SOATest;

  • Experience with CI /CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Bit Bucket

  • Team player with excellent communication skills to partner technically with Application Architects, Development, QA/Testing organizations and Business teams

  • Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions when tools don’t work

  • Motivation and passion to stay on top of new and emerging test and automation technologies and able to provide direction to test teams
