We are looking for a Senior Specialist/Product Manager to work with senior personnel on projects related to the development, enhancement and maintenance of our Automated Marketing Platforms. The person in this position works with a broad set of cross-functional partners across the firm to define overall product direction, support communication strategies, and to ensure marketing effectiveness and efficiency by delivering and supporting high value communication capabilities.
What you’ll do:
Act as product lead for communication platform enhancements, integration and evolution; directing and coordinating requirements, project staff and product development activities.
Act as platform administrator, providing day to day production support for Marketo and other core platforms.
Represent platform and product management business ownership during issue escalations and resolutions
Gather and document input from users and stakeholders for future functional changes, identifying short term and long term solutions
Partner with stakeholders to act as a liaison between business, technical teams and vendors
Help to ensure platforms are aligned with the current communication strategy of our business partners while still continuing to keep an eye toward the future.
What you have:
Experience in Marketo and other automated marketing platforms
Experience managing and supporting integration between automated marketing platforms and Salesforce as well as other 3 rd party applications
Experience working with multichannel delivery methods, including knowledge of print production practices, email deliverability and social
Experience defining business rules for complex communication templates
Experience using web services – (JSON/XML)
Product lifecycle management experience including bringing new products to market, deploying enhancements to existing products and migrating users to new products while retiring old ones
Demonstrated success in managing multiple, cross functional platforms with rapid release cycles
Experience in developing business process requirements, use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules
Prior experience interfacing with various partners, including internal business partners, vendors, and offshore development teams
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills
Ability to think creatively
Ability to think in terms of the client/user experience
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
In addition, ideal candidates will also have the following desired qualifications:
Marketo Certification or equivalent in another like platform.
BA/BS degree or equivalent on the job experience
Background experience in financial services or other heavily regulated industries
3 or more years business analyst, project management, or product development experience
Comfortable with ambiguity, ability to navigate effectively where there is no clear path forward.
Ability to be flexible in light of business changes and need to re-focus efforts
Experience with InDesign and basic design concepts.
Working knowledge of marketing concepts and creative processes.
